What is Cellex-C?

Cellex-C is a topical formulation containing L-ascorbic acid (vitamin C). Cellex-C is the only skin care product that is licensed to use the pioneering Bioderm technology (US Patent No. 4,938,969).
Vitamin C in the form of L-ascorbic acid is the one vitamin that doctors and dermatologists agree
plays a key role in stimulating the synthesis of skin firming collagen.

Unfortunately, as we age, free radicals break down the body’s vitamin C supplies and healthy collagen production consequently declines. The visible result is loose and wrinkled skin. The purpose of
Cellex-C’s core formulations is to help replenish the low vitamin C levels of aging skin and thus help
the production of new, elastic collagen.

Cellex-C is designed to topically deliver up to twenty times more active vitamin C than your body can orally absorb. It is suitable for use on all skin types and color.

What is in Cellex-C?
The Cellex-C formulation contains a stabilized form of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid), plus two naturally occurring chemical ‘helpers’ (zinc and tyrosine) that help in the delivery of vitamin C through to the skin’s active cellular layer.
Why Zinc?

Because, like vitamin C, zinc levels decline with age, yet zinc must be present within the skin to create the right conditions for collagen to build its firming network.

For new collagen to be constructed, the old stiffened collagen must be dismantled, this is achieved
by an enzymatic process involving collagenase. Zinc is an essential component of collagenase.

Why Tyrosine?
Because tyrosine is a very important amino acid needed for promoting cell renewal and the production
of proteins involved in skin remodeling and repair.
Who developed Cellex-C?

The genesis of Cellex-C was an outcome of research done in the mid ‘80’s by two American medical scientists, Meisner and Schinitsky. Like many breakthroughs theirs was quite incidental to the primary research purpose.

Meisner and Schnitsky were actually studying diabetes and connective tissue diseases when, in the course of their work, they verified the effectiveness of the topical application of a specific type of vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) in maintaining youthful smoothness and elasticity to the skin.

At the same time, they identified two key chemical ‘helpers’ (zinc and tyrosine) that measurably assisted in the delivery of vitamin C through to the skin’s active cellular layer.

These findings are the basis of any formulation of Cellex-C’s Patented Complex and central to how Cellex-C helps solve the appearance problems associated with aging skin.

What is the Cellex-C difference?
From its inception Cellex-C has provided a unique solution to the visual affects of aging skin.
One that works wonderfully well.

Only Cellex-C’s Patented Complex has a precise formulation utilizing the nutrients that must be
present to support the skin enhancing properties stimulated by vitamin C.

Many cosmetic products contain vitamin C (often in a far less effective derivative form), no other contains the same precise combination of bio-available vitamin C supported by nutrients

There simply isn’t a better way of bringing the miracle of vitamin C to the skin.

How soon will you see results?

Cellex-C will be absorbed into your skin and start its work immediately. However, visible results
will not be seen in less than two months–a difference in skin texture may be felt a little sooner.

Fine lines should begin to be less noticeable within three to eight months. Of course, individual
results vary upon the initial condition of the skin and the length of use.

Does Cellex-C really work ?
Over 100,000 men and women around the world in ages ranging from 25 to 83 are regular users
of Cellex-C skin care products. The proof of this is illustrated by the results of scientific tests
and, of course, the experience of thousands of Cellex-C users worldwide.
How often should Cellex-C be applied?
The recommended regimen for Cellex-C Core Formulations is once a day (in the morning). Using the product more than once a day may cause irritation. Cellex-C should only be applied more frequently
if recommended by a dermatologist.
Do I need to change my skin care regimen?
No. Cellex-C can easily be used in conjunction with your current skin care regimen although it should not be applied at the same time of day as other products–especially those with alpha hydroxy acids.
Note however, Cellex-C Serum should always be used in conjunction with a moisturizer to prevent dryness.
